About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Investment Manager to lead M&A an Project Financing activities for solar projects in Japan. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment with a flat organizational culture and flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities for solar projects in Japan.
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence for potential acquisitions.
- Negotiate transaction terms and manage deal execution from start to finish.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful integration of acquired assets.
- Monitor market trends and provide strategic insights to support investment decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in M&A, project finance, or investment management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of the Japanese energy market and regulatory environment.
- Business-level Japanese and professional English proficiency (spoken and written).
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a flat, international organization and contribute ideas proactively.
