Junior Design Engineer
The Company
What you'll do
- Assist with the structural analysis and design of building systems including concrete, steel, masonry, and wood
- Produce engineering calculations, technical drawings, and project documentation
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers to learn codes, design standards, and industry best practices
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
- Participate in design meetings and contribute ideas to project development
- Support construction phase activities including site visits and field observations
- Continuously develop knowledge through training, mentorship, and project experience
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Engineering Intern (EIT) certification, or active pursuit
- 3-6 years experience with in structural design
- Strong grasp of structural engineering fundamentals
- Familiarity with tools such as Revit, RISA, RAM, or ETABS (training can be provided)
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment
