LVI is partnered with a top women owned structural engineering consulting firm based in VA, in search of a Structural Engineer who's passionate about innovation and ready to dive into projects ranging from multi-story construction, commercial to restoration projects . Our client offers exciting opportunities to work on innovative solutions for both new and existing buildings. Each day, you'll collaborate with a talented team to tackle diverse structural projects, including:

• Hospitals
• Federal and other public/private buildings
• Historic landmarks
• Zoo enclosures

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and analysis of structural systems for a variety of project types.
• Work with hand-drawn sketches, cutting-edge software, and BIM technology to produce innovative solutions.
• Assist in envelope design, restoration projects, and construction phase services.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Perform reviews of existing facilities to propose upgrades and replacements, and present findings and recommendations to clients and peers.
• You will perform structural analysis and detailed design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, equipment, and foundations.
• Develop integrated structural designs and perform supporting calculations for the planned work.
• You will have direct interface with the client and communicate technical information.

What We're Looking For:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Prefferably PE licensed.
• Passion for problem-solving and hands-on project involvement.
• Desire to gain diverse experience in structural engineering, including restoration and envelope design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
