We are seeking a Transmission Line Engineer with a strong civil or structural engineering background to support the design and execution of high-voltage electric utility projects. This role involves structural analysis, route planning, permitting coordination, and construction support for overhead and underground transmission systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Design transmission line structures and foundations for voltages ranging from 69 kV to 500 kV.
- Perform structural analysis using tools such as PLS-CADD, MFAD, and LPILE.
- Prepare engineering packages for new installations, upgrades, and relocations.
- Conduct field assessments and support construction coordination and inspections.
- Collaborate with permitting, environmental, and right-of-way teams to secure project approvals.
- Ensure compliance with NESC, ASCE, and utility-specific standards.
- Support QA/QC processes and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Track project milestones and assist with documentation and closeout.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (ABET accredited).
- 3-10 years of experience in transmission line engineering.
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software.
- Strong understanding of transmission line construction methods and materials.
- FE/EIT certification preferred; PE license a plus.
- Ability to work in both office and field environments, including remote locations.
