Position Summary:
We are representing an ESOP General Contractor seeking a highly experienced and motivated Construction Superintendent to lead the on-site execution of ground-up K-12 school construction projects exceeding $25 million in value. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale educational facilities from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all field operations on assigned K-12 construction projects.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
Develop and maintain project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Conduct daily site walks, safety meetings, and progress reports.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and school district representatives.
Manage inspections, punch lists, and project closeout documentation.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, RFIs, change orders, and daily logs.

Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a Superintendent on K-12 ground-up projects over $25M.
Strong knowledge of Ohio building codes, OSFC/OFCC standards, and public school construction requirements.
Proficient in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
OSHA 30 certification required; First Aid/CPR preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to travel to job sites across Ohio as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with LEED-certified school projects.
Familiarity with union and non-union labor environments.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred but not required).
