Join a well-established Miami-based civil engineering firm with over 30 years of success and a 95% repeat client rate. We are seeking a Land Development Project Manager to lead complex private and municipal infrastructure projects, mentor junior engineers, and work directly with long-standing clients on high-profile developments.
What You'll Do
- Manage a diverse portfolio of projects - private land development (industrial parks, site work, luxury towers) and municipal infrastructure (pump stations, pipelines, drainage, roadways).
- Oversee projects from start to finish - from initial utility investigations and base plan development, through design, permitting, regulatory approvals, construction support, and final certifications.
- Maintain strong client relationships and oversee project financials (invoicing, budgeting).
- Supervise and mentor 2-3 junior engineers while collaborating with experienced Project Managers.
- Engage with permitting agencies, regulatory bodies, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
What We're Looking For
- 8-20+ years of civil engineering experience, with strong land development expertise.
- Experience with large-scale site development: site grading, drainage, water, sewer, utilities.
- Familiarity with Miami-Dade Water & Sewer projects (pump stations, pipelines, drainage).
- Strong project management, design leadership, and client interaction skills.
- Florida PE license preferred (or ability to obtain quickly).
