LVI is partnering with a multi-disciplinary engineering firm that has multiple offices across Maryland. This firm works with both public and private clients, including developers, home builders, and government agencies across the Mid-Atlantic area.

This engineering firm is rapidly growing and is looking for an experienced Project Manager who has a minimum of 10 years of experience in residential, commercial, or industrial development in the Maryland or Northern Virginia area.

This project manager position will be based in the Waldorf, MD office, where the project manager will be responsible for managing various land development design projects, which include client relations, project financials, and profitability. This position will require direct supervision and mentoring of design engineers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant degree
  • A Professional Engineer (P.E) License is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in land development.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in managing land development projects.
  • Able to manage design staff.
  • Great leadership skills.
  • Confidence in communicating with clients regularly.

Brief Description:

  • Manage projects from beginning to end with client management.
  • To develop and prepare proposals for clients.
  • Maintain project schedules, budgets, and invoicing.
  • Provide your team with technical expertise to assist in helping clients.
  • Representing clients throughout key milestones in their projects.
  • Leadership, mentoring, and development of your staff.
  • Oversee team performance, providing regular feedback and recognition.
