Licensed Site Professional (LSP) - Environmental Consulting Leader

Location: New England Region (Massachusetts Preferred)
Experience: 10+ Years

A nationally recognized environmental consulting firm is seeking a Licensed Site Professional (LSP) to lead complex site investigation, remediation, and regulatory compliance projects throughout New England.

This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity for an experienced consultant looking to combine technical expertise, client management, business development, and team leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in growing the firm's remediation practice while serving as a trusted advisor to clients across a variety of industries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee environmental investigation and remediation projects from assessment through regulatory closure

  • Serve as the Licensed Site Professional of record for projects regulated under the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP)

  • Develop and implement remediation strategies for soil, groundwater, vapor intrusion, and other environmental impacts

  • Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and client expectations

  • Interpret environmental data, risk assessments, and remediation alternatives

  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies, clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders

  • Prepare and review technical reports, remedial action plans, and closure documentation

  • Mentor and develop technical staff while supporting team growth

  • Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships

  • Identify opportunities for practice expansion and market growth

Qualifications

  • Active Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional (LSP) license required

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field

  • 10+ years of environmental consulting experience

  • Extensive experience managing site investigation and remediation projects under MCP and related regulatory programs

  • Strong understanding of risk assessment, remediation technologies, and regulatory compliance

  • Proven project management and leadership experience

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams

  • Strong client-facing communication and business development skills

  • Existing client relationships and business development success are highly desirable
