A leading global engineering and construction firm is seeking a seasoned executive to lead its rapidly growing data center business across Continental Europe. This is a high-impact strategic role with full P&L responsibility, overseeing operations, business development, and client delivery for hyperscale and enterprise data center projects. The company has a strong presence in Germany and is actively expanding into key European markets including Ireland, the UK, and Spain.
The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the regional strategy in alignment with global objectives, driving growth through strategic partnerships, and ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale mission-critical infrastructure projects. This includes managing cross-functional teams across engineering, construction, commercial, and operations, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and profitability.
The role also involves representing the company in industry forums and regulatory engagements, and building long-term relationships with major hyperscale and enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, a proven track record in leading complex, multi-country operations, and the leadership skills to foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the data center business across multiple European markets
- Develop and execute regional strategy aligned with global objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with key hyperscale and enterprise clients
- Oversee large-scale project delivery with a focus on quality, safety, and profitability

Candidate Profile:
- Extensive leadership experience in the data center industry
- Proven success managing complex, multi-country operations and large-scale projects
- Strong understanding of data center design, construction, commissioning, and operations
- Excellent client management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Fluent in English and German; Spanish/ French/ Italian is a plus
- Based in or willing to relocate to Stuttgart
- Willingness to travel across Europe as needed
