Managing Director
Position Overview: We are currently seeking an accomplished and driven Managing Director to lead the Valuation and Litigation department for our client, based in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating over $500,000 in revenue annually and possess extensive experience in business valuation and litigation support. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional analytical abilities, and the capacity to manage and grow a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Valuation and Litigation department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth and achieve financial targets.
- Provide expert valuation and litigation support services, including business and intangible asset appraisals, fairness and solvency opinions, and financial advisory consulting.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed valuation reports and expert witness testimony for litigation cases.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in valuation and litigation support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) or similar professional designation preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business valuation and litigation support, with a proven track record of generating $500,000+ in annual revenue.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong client relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
