A well-established masonry restoration contractor in the Chicago market is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team. This organization has built a strong reputation for delivering complex masonry restoration, façade rehabilitation, tuckpointing, waterproofing, and historic restoration projects throughout the Midwest.

This role offers the opportunity to manage high-profile restoration projects from pre-construction through closeout while working alongside some of the region's most respected masonry professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple masonry restoration and façade rehabilitation projects simultaneously.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, consultants, and field personnel.
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Lead project planning meetings and maintain project schedules.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Track project costs and prepare change orders, RFIs, submittals, and progress billing.
  • Perform site visits to monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Preferred Background

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within masonry restoration, façade restoration, concrete restoration, waterproofing, or building envelope construction.
  • Experience managing projects involving:
    • Tuckpointing
    • Brick and stone restoration
    • Façade rehabilitation
    • Historic restoration
    • Waterproofing
    • Structural masonry repairs
    • Concrete restoration
  • Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
