What You'll Do
- Lead the design and delivery of HVAC and mechanical building systems projects.
- Manage projects from proposal and planning through construction administration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, staffing, and quality control.
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level mechanical engineers and designers.
- Review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Participate in client development efforts and help foster long-term relationships.
- Support strategic growth initiatives and contribute to the firm's continued success.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical consulting engineering or building systems design.
- Strong HVAC design experience across commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, municipal, or similar project types.
- Demonstrated project management and client-facing experience.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong understanding of applicable mechanical codes, energy standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required for exceptional candidates.
