Senior Project Manager - Mechanical Construction
Position Summary
If you love managing large, complex construction projects, mentoring others, and are passionate about safety, this opportunity is for you! We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a project team on a single large-scale project or multiple smaller projects. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the project and includes coaching and performance feedback for team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure projects meet or exceed contractual and financial goals.
- Monitor progress and proactively adjust tactics to stay on track.
- Build strong client relationships through regular status updates and collaboration.
- Manage budgets, cost and revenue projections, and change orders.
- Participate in internal project meetings to address schedules and resolve issues.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure scope and direction align with timelines.
- Delegate tasks and mentor project team members, providing coaching and feedback.
- Direct and motivate teams through all phases of multiple large-scale projects.
- Mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers for career growth.
- Stay current with industry trends and adopt innovative practices.
- Develop long-term customer relationships beyond individual projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management (or related field).
- 15+ years of experience managing mid-to-large MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects.
