With a strong portfolio of healthcare developments ranging from facility expansions to new construction projects, they are seeking a Medical Equipment Planner to support project delivery throughout California.
Responsibilities
- Lead medical equipment planning activities across all phases of healthcare capital projects.
- Develop equipment inventories, budgets, specifications, and procurement strategies.
- Coordinate with clinical stakeholders to understand operational and equipment requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure seamless equipment integration.
- Facilitate user group meetings and provide equipment planning expertise throughout project delivery.
- Manage equipment budgets, schedules, and project documentation.
- Support equipment procurement, installation, activation, and occupancy planning efforts.
- Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Maintain a strong understanding of healthcare design standards and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Architecture, Construction Management, Clinical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in Medical Equipment Planning.
- Experience supporting healthcare construction, renovation, or capital projects.
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment specification development, budgeting, and procurement processes.
- Ability to work directly with clinical leadership and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and equipment planning software.
