Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Stormwater Management / Water Resources Engineer to join our Melbourne team. This role focuses on designing and delivering water-sensitive urban design (WSUD) solutions, stormwater infrastructure, and integrated water management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of stormwater and WSUD projects.
Develop hydrological and hydraulic models to support project outcomes.
Prepare technical reports, concept designs, and detailed engineering documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers, urban planners, and environmental specialists.
Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project alignment and compliance.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in stormwater management, water resources engineering, or WSUD.
Proficiency in relevant modelling software (e.g., MUSIC, DRAINS, HEC-RAS, XP-RAFTS).
Strong understanding of Australian water regulations, guidelines, and best practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Chartered status or working towards chartership (desirable).
