Role Overview

We're hiring a Traveling Electrical Project Manager to lead complex electrical installations for mission-critical data center and Industrial construction projects across the Midwest. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with deep technical expertise and a passion for delivering high-performance results in fast-paced environments. You'll be responsible for managing field operations, subcontractors, and project execution while traveling to various job sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical scopes of work for hyperscale data center builds from planning through close-out.
  • Travel extensively across the Midwest to oversee field operations and ensure project alignment with company standards.
  • Supervise field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
  • Interpret and enforce contract documents, budgets, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate project logistics, scheduling, and construction activities across multiple sites.
  • Monitor project financials including budgeting, cost control, and profitability tracking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, inspectors, and internal teams.
  • Mentor and support team members in alignment with company leadership principles.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all safety and quality standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager on data center or similarly complex projects.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience/training/education in electrical construction or service trades.
  • Experience with mission-critical or advanced technology projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Midwest.
