This is a leadership role focused on team development, client engagement, and technical project oversight in the natural resources and environmental sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of biologists and environmental specialists, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
- Oversee project execution and ensure high-quality deliverables in compliance with environmental regulations and client expectations.
- Support recruitment efforts by identifying, onboarding, and developing new team members.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients in the energy, transportation, and government sectors.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote services and expand business opportunities.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposal writing and client presentations.
- Provide strategic input on regulatory matters, permitting processes (including NEPA), and environmental compliance.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A seasoned leader with a passion for environmental stewardship and team development.
- Proven experience managing complex environmental projects from inception to completion.
- Skilled in building client relationships and representing an organization in professional settings.
- Comfortable with travel for site visits, client meetings, and industry events.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead meetings and present to diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in the environmental or biological sciences industry.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental permitting, NEPA compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Valid driver's license required.

- Demonstrated ability to manage projects with budgets up to $300,000.
