Position Overview:
Are you passionate about sustainable water management and ready to lead complex, impactful projects? Join our team as a Water Project Manager and be at the forefront of implementing innovative solutions that enhance water infrastructure and meet the evolving needs of communities.
You will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing water infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and delivering quality outcomes to our clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Define project scopes, schedules, budgets, and objectives using established methodologies and industry best practices
Prepare statements of work, work breakdown structures, and obtain stakeholder approvals
Evaluate project risks and implement mitigation strategies
Monitor and control project costs, profitability, and billing processes
Lead change management processes to address scope, schedule, or budget adjustments
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and respond to internal/external audit recommendations
Guide engineering tasks, oversee design and construction techniques, and supervise technical teams
Manage project staffing, both internal and external, including subcontractors and vendors
Assign work and monitor performance of project staff, providing coaching and feedback
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction through effective planning and communication
Identify and pursue opportunities for additional services or repeat business
Collaborate with business development teams on proposals and project scoping
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
10+ years of experience in project management for water infrastructure projects
Certification in PMP (PMI), CCM, or DBIA (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
Strong understanding of project controls, budget management, and change management
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and project management software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills
Valid driver's license
Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10%
Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
