Job Description

You will be responsible for a wide range of technical tasks related to the construction of wind and solar power plants, both domestically and internationally, with a focus on electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support development of new projects (onshore/offshore)
    • Site surveys, basic design, and preparation of technical specifications
    • Coordination with power utilities
    • Oversight of detailed design and construction by EPC contractors
    • Technical evaluation of wind turbines and PV modules
    • Technical due diligence for acquisitions (reviewing consultant reports, site visits)
  • Conduct technical research and analysis

Note: About 25% of workdays involve domestic or international travel to project sites.

Target Age Range:

  • Late 20s to early 30s: Open to candidates from related industries

  • Experience in maintenance, design, or construction management at:
    • Power utilities
    • Engineering firms

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Academic or professional background in electrical engineering
  • Fluent Japanese communication
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Substation design/construction
    • High-voltage electrical systems
    • Generator or transformer design
    • Licensed electrical chief engineer
    • Work experience at a utility, heavy electrical manufacturer, or engineering firm
