Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee transportation projects, including setting priorities, managing budgets, and guiding design processes.
  • Serve as a technical expert and resource for engineering teams across disciplines.
  • Manage project execution from concept through completion, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
  • Engage in business development activities such as proposal writing, client presentations, and relationship management.
  • Represent the firm in professional organizations and industry events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation engineering, including highway and local street design.
  • Clear understanding of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) standards and procedures.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida.
  • Proven experience in business development, client engagement, and proposal development.
  • Prior project management experience with FDOT is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and staff management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in design software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), AutoCAD, and Civil3D.
