We're currently working with a highly respected national architecture, engineering, and construction consulting firm that's expanding its presence in Georgia. They're seeking a licensed Structural Engineer to join their growing team and contribute to a wide range of commercial building projects.

About the Role
As a Structural Engineer, you'll be involved in evaluating new construction projects, diagnosing issues in existing structures, and designing repair solutions. The work spans commercial and industrial buildings, including office spaces, high-rise multifamily developments, and parking structures.
You'll act as a technical lead on small projects, collaborate with internal teams and clients, and produce formal reports. Site visits are a key part of the role, with travel expected around 30% of the time.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze drawings, specifications, and calculations for new builds
- Conduct property condition assessments and forensic evaluations
- Identify root causes of structural issues and design appropriate repairs
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation
- Lead small projects and liaise with clients, consultants, and site contacts
- Travel to project sites as needed
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design or consulting
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
- Strong understanding of building codes, seismic systems, and construction processes
- Experience with ASCE 41 seismic evaluations and retrofit design (preferred)
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office; PlanGrid experience a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
