Planner (Instrumentation Control & Electrical)
Position Summary
This role is part of the Instrument, Control, and Electrical (ICE) team, supporting maintenance planning and coordination at the terminal. The position focuses on developing and managing daily and long-term maintenance schedules, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the efficient execution of all ICE-related maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule daily preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks for ICE systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, HSSE, Production, and Jetty Operations teams to analyze work requests and coordinate electronic work permit processes.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings to assign tasks, provide briefings, and align ICE-MECH coordination.
- Utilize SAP to manage ICE work orders, maintain equipment master data, update PM plans, and raise purchase requisitions for spare parts.
- Liaise with external authorities to obtain approvals for natural gas equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for safety induction, site surveys, and execution of maintenance work.
- Review and validate method statements and risk assessments for planned jobs.
- Ensure proper job close-out and documentation in SAP.
- Raise and manage purchase requisitions, define scope and specifications, and collaborate with Procurement for vendor evaluation and material tracking.
- Contribute to maintenance budget planning, forecasting, and expenditure monitoring.
- Manage Jurong Island Pass sponsorship applications for external vendors.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years (with Degree) or 8 years (with Diploma) of experience in E&I maintenance planning or supervisory roles within oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP systems.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
