Job Summary:

A leading global provider of solar energy solutions is urgently seeking a technically skilled and bilingual Pre-Sales / Solution Sales Engineer. This role is essential in supporting the local sales team in Japan and maintaining close coordination with the headquarters in China. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar energy systems and electrical engineering, with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures and technical domains.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and deliver customized solar energy solutions.
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and system design consultations.
  • Maintain frequent communication with the HQ in China to ensure alignment on technical specifications and project requirements.
  • Prepare proposals, technical documentation, and cost estimates.
  • Support the sales process from initial engagement through to post-sales technical support.
  • Travel to client sites across Kanto and Kansai regions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years in pre-sales, solution sales, or technical sales within the solar energy or electrical engineering sectors.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Solid understanding of solar PV systems, electrical schematics, and energy storage technologies.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • Chinese (Mandarin) - essential for HQ communication.
    • Japanese and/or English - preferred for local client interaction.
  • Education:
    • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Other:
    • Willingness to travel domestically as required.
