About the Opportunity
Our client, a growing energy brokerage and consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Energy Procurement Pricing Specialist to support business growth while helping lead the organization's pricing and market analysis function. This individual will work closely with sales, suppliers, and clients to develop competitive energy procurement strategies and deliver pricing solutions in deregulated energy markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the pricing team by managing supplier pricing requests, analyzing market offers, and ensuring timely proposal delivery.
- Support business development efforts by working alongside sales representatives to structure competitive electricity and natural gas procurement solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with energy suppliers, wholesale market contacts, and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze energy market trends, pricing movements, contract structures, and risk management strategies.
- Review and optimize pricing processes, reporting, and proposal generation to improve team efficiency.
Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of experience in energy procurement, energy brokerage, retail energy, supplier pricing, or energy consulting.
- Strong understanding of deregulated electricity and natural gas markets.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and developing pricing strategies.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and Excel/data management skills.
