Principal Data Center Operations Consultant
A leading enterprise solutions firm is looking for a Data Center Operations Expert professional to lead technical engagement and solution alignment for data center operations. This role bridges operational expertise with product innovation, supporting internal teams and customers in optimizing mission-critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert across the data center lifecycle (design, build, operate).
- Advise on cooling, power, compliance, and energy efficiency best practices.
- Support sales and customer engagements with technical insights.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance product relevance.
- Represent the company at industry events and contribute thought leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in data center operations, engineering, or design.
- Strong knowledge of cooling systems, power infrastructure, and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with Uptime Institute standards, ASHRAE guidelines, and regional regulations.
- Proven track record in improving energy efficiency and operational resilience.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and executive stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with software or AI teams.
- Knowledge of Digital Twin, CFD, or AI-based optimization tools.
- Certifications such as CDCP, CDCS, CDCE, or Uptime ATS/CTS.
