Principal Engineer
A leading environmental consulting firm with a strong regional presence in the Pacific Northwest is seeking a Principal Environmental Engineer to join its dynamic Seattle team. This role is ideal for a seasoned Professional Engineer (PE) with expertise in contaminated site assessment and remediation, and a passion for business development and client service.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a senior technical and strategic leader for complex environmental investigation and remediation projects across Washington and the Pacific Northwest.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, identify market opportunities, and lead business development and proposal efforts.
Guide multidisciplinary teams in preparing work plans, site assessments, feasibility studies, and remedial designs.
Oversee regulatory strategy and interface with agencies including EPA and Washington Department of Ecology.
Mentor and develop junior and mid-level staff, supporting a culture of collaboration, integrity, and scientific rigor.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering.
Current Washington PE license (or ability to obtain promptly).
Minimum of 12 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on site assessment and remediation.
Demonstrated success in business development, client account management, and strategic growth.
Strong understanding of Washington State environmental regulations and CERCLA/RCRA programs.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Salary Range:
$160,000 - $190,000 annually, depending on experience and credentials.
