A well-established and nationally recognized architectural and engineering firm is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Professional Electrical Engineer to join its team in St. Petersburg, Florida.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects that emphasize sustainable design, technical excellence, and community impact. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical engineering for building systems and a collaborative approach to integrated design.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and coordinated project delivery.
Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Provide support during construction administration, including site visits and submittal reviews.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Florida, or the ability to obtain licensure promptly.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering for building systems.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical design software.
Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
