Job Summary: The Program Manager, Major Projects, will oversee and manage large-scale water and wastewater projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in project management within the water and wastewater industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage major water and wastewater projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management within the water and wastewater industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
