Program Manager - Mission Critical Projects (Remote with travel, USA)
I'm partnered with a leading consulting and engineering firm supporting some of the largest hyperscale and mission critical infrastructure programs in North America. They're looking to add a Program Manager to oversee a portfolio of commissioning and project delivery efforts across multiple high-profile data center clients.
This is a remote position with nationwide travel and would suit someone who enjoys operating at both a strategic and operational level.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Project Managers across multiple concurrent mission critical projects
- Drive project execution, delivery quality, schedule performance, and client satisfaction
- Own portfolio-level financial oversight, including forecasting, profitability reviews, and resource planning
- Serve as the escalation point for project delivery challenges and risk mitigation
- Develop and mentor PMs, helping elevate project controls, client management, and leadership capability
- Partner with senior leadership on workforce planning, hiring strategy, and business growth initiatives
- Support major client relationships and identify opportunities for follow-on work
What they're looking for:
- 8+ years of mission critical construction, commissioning, or data center project experience
- Proven experience managing multiple projects, programs, or teams simultaneously
- Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and project financial management
- Previous people leadership experience with responsibility for developing project teams
- Ability to travel nationally and work within a fast-growth environment
