Project Engineer
Position Summary
Seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support the design and execution of land development projects, including residential, commercial, and municipal developments. This role involves technical design, permitting, and coordination with clients, agencies, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engineering plans and reports for grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design.
- Create site layouts and land development designs using CAD software.
- Coordinate with municipalities, utility providers, and clients to ensure project compliance.
- Assist in preparing construction documents, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Conduct site visits and support construction administration activities.
- Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to meet project milestones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in land development engineering.
- EIT certification required; PE license preferred or in progress.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with local development codes and permitting processes.
- Experience in stormwater management, grading, and utility coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
