Role Summary
The Senior Financing Manager will be responsible for leading financial strategies for large-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, BESS, and wind. This role requires expertise in structuring, securing, and managing project financing, as well as strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial strategies for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
- Structure and negotiate financing deals, including debt, equity, and tax equity.
- Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders.
- Conduct financial modeling, analysis, and risk assessments.
- Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior leadership.
- Oversee due diligence processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage financial transactions and documentation.
- Monitor and manage project cash flows for timely fund allocation.
- Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and financing opportunities.
- Collaborate with project teams to align financial strategies with project goals.
- Support additional activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with a focus on renewable energy project financing.
- Proven track record in structuring and securing large-scale project financing.
