Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex bridge design projects.
- Oversee all phases of bridge design, rehabilitation, and project delivery.
- Manage schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
- Conduct and lead public presentations.
- Perform quality control reviews across project deliverables.
- Mentor and support staff through training, workload planning, and career development.
- Develop and/or review engineering studies, plans, models, and cost estimates.
- Work closely with state and municipal clients on transportation and bridge infrastructure projects.
- Identify and support business development initiatives and proposal efforts.
- Serve as Bridge Discipline Lead on strategic pursuits.
- Represent the firm at industry and professional society events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with ability to obtain comity in additional states.
- 10+ years of progressive bridge engineering, design, and project management experience.
- Experience working with DOT clients is required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead project teams in a dynamic environment.
- Strong public speaking and client-facing communication skills.
- Proven ability to build client relationships and support business development.
- Experience securing Federal, State, and local permits.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and project delivery track record.
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines on multiple concurrent projects.
