Project Manager- Building Envelope
A leading New York-based building envelope and restoration firm is seeking a Project Manager with deep expertise in FISP/Local Law 11 and a strong foundation in facade design and restoration. About the Role
The ideal candidate brings a blend of hands‑on FISP experience, strong project management capability, and the confidence to liaise directly with building owners, contractors, and design teams. You'll oversee projects from initial assessment through construction close‑out, ensuring compliance, quality, and smooth communication at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
Managing FISP/LL11 inspections, reporting, and restoration projects across NYC
Overseeing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
Coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and building owners
Reviewing drawings, reports, and technical documentation
Conducting site visits, assessments, and facade investigations
Ensuring DOB compliance and supporting permit/filing processes
Leading internal teams and supporting junior staff development
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in FISP/LL11 inspections, facade restoration, or building envelope work
2+ years of project management experience in New York
Strong understanding of facade systems and restoration methodologies
Experience coordinating with contractors and managing client relationships
Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) in New York- or actively pursuing licensure
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
