A multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Project Manager with a positive, collaborative work style to join its Community Practice studio. What We're Looking For
- Experience in community-focused projects, with an emphasis on Higher Education and/or K-12 facilities
- Resourceful, creative problem-solving skills
- Strong team orientation, with the ability to both lead and take direction
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a positive and respectful approach
- Clear and effective communication skills (verbal, visual, and written)
- Highly organized with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and moving parts
- Solid understanding of design principles, space planning, materials, and spatial relationships
- Interest in and commitment to sustainable design practices
- Strong professional drive combined with a positive, team-oriented attitude
What You'll Do
- Collaborate within a dedicated team focused on community-oriented projects
- Take on a high level of ownership and responsibility across projects
- Manage a variety of project types and design efforts
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals, budgets, and schedules
- Oversee the production of construction documents and construction administration
- Ensure overall project success and client satisfaction
- Contribute to and benefit from ongoing professional growth opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, especially in community-related sectors (K-12, Higher Education, Civic, or Justice projects)
- Demonstrated experience managing K-12 project work
- Architectural licensure/registration required
- Proficiency in Revit (intermediate level or higher)
