Overview
We are partnering with an established engineering and automation solutions provider that designs and delivers complex control systems across a broad range of industrial and infrastructure environments. The organization is known for long‑term customer relationships, technically robust project execution, and a strong internal culture built around collaboration and accountability.
Due to continued growth, the business is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support automation and controls projects for both existing and new customers.
The Role
This position carries full responsibility for managing technical projects from initial kickoff through final delivery. The Project Manager will oversee planning, execution, budgeting, coordination of engineering resources, and customer communication, while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope.
The role reports into senior leadership and works closely with engineering, operations, and customer stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects through all phases of execution, from initiation to closeout
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate internal engineering teams and external partners
- Monitor progress, risks, costs, and performance metrics
- Communicate status updates, milestones, and issues to customers and leadership
- Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and commercial impacts
- Ensure documentation, compliance, and quality standards are met
- Provide day‑to‑day leadership to project teams to drive successful delivery
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing technical or engineering‑driven projects
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to interpret mechanical layouts, electrical schematics, and technical documentation
- Highly organized with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Confident communicator with a customer‑facing mindset
- Solid understanding of industrial automation, controls, or related technologies
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related field
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience in an engineering, automation, or industrial environment
- Demonstrated ownership of budgets, schedules, and customer deliverables
- Motivated, results‑driven, and comfortable working in a growing organization
