Project Manager- Heavy Civil
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of large‑scale concrete water storage and civil infrastructure projects. This role is based in the Dallas region and offers the opportunity to lead complex, high‑visibility work from pre‑construction through final commissioning. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to manage all aspects of construction projects with a focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, submittals, procurement, and closeout.
- Lead project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure efficient and safe execution of work.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality control, and field operations to maintain alignment with design requirements and project specifications.
- Oversee project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, invoicing, and contract compliance.
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, progress reporting, and issue resolution.
- Enforce safety standards and ensure all work adheres to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil, concrete, water/wastewater, or related infrastructure construction.
- Strong understanding of structural concrete, tank construction, and civil site work preferred.
- Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and submittals.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing multi‑million‑dollar projects.
