Position Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of industrial development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across various disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of development projects from pre-construction through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and internal standards.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior leadership.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial or industrial real estate development projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera).
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification or equivalent.
- Experience with sustainable building practices or LEED certification.
- Familiarity with New Jersey zoning and permitting processes.
