The company is a leading regional general contractor, delivering construction projects across education, healthcare, public/municipal, and commercial. They are hiring a proven Project Manager to help drive their continued expansion in the Florida market.
You will play a critical role in representing the firm with owners, school districts, university representatives, architects and consultants.
Key responsibilities of the Project Manager | K-12 Construction include:
- Oversee education construction projects from preconstruction planning through final completion and owner turnover.
- Direct all aspects of project delivery, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, risk management, and execution.
- Collaborate closely with field operations teams to develop site logistics, campus phasing plans, and construction sequencing strategies that minimize disruptions to occupied facilities.
- Drive financial performance by managing forecasts, tracking costs, analyzing project metrics, and ensuring profitability targets are achieved.
Key requirements of the Project Manager | K-12 Construction include:
- Ground-up construction experience in K-12 and/ or higher education, with projects valued at $20m+.
- Experience working on complex builds for established general contractors.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
- Experience working with public-sector clients, including school districts, colleges, and universities.
- Strong leadership experience managing project teams, field personnel, and subcontractors
