Project Manager - Land Development

Overview:

Our client, a collaborative and design-focused firm, is seeking a Project Manager to lead land development projects in industrial, medical facilities, hospitals, etc. from inception through completion. This role will oversee internal and external teams, manage project budgets and work plans, coordinate the development of contract documents, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients. The position also offers the opportunity to mentor team members while helping drive strong project execution and financial performance.

Compensation & Benefits:

* Base salary: $120,000 to $160,000

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage land development projects from start to finish

* Utilize internal resource groups for design and preparation of design and construction documents

* Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate all phases of each project

* Provide construction-phase services, including site visits and shop drawing review

* Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and project representatives

* Assemble and coordinate consultant teams, including defining scope, collecting fees, selecting consultants, and facilitating contracts

* Coordinate with consultants across trades to produce complete, coordinated contract documents and specifications for permitting and construction

* Perform local, county, state, and federal code searches and project analysis

* Maintain responsibility for the financial success of assigned projects

* Communicate effectively with clients, brokers, contractors, consultants, and internal team members

* Mentor and help train developing staff

Key Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

* PE license preferred

* 7+ years of experience in land development

* Experience managing commercial and residential land development projects

* Strong working knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, consultant coordination, and client management

* Civil 3D proficiency

* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
