Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction for wood-frame multifamily projects (typically 50-200 units)
- Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships
- Coordinate with field teams, architects, engineers, and city officials
- Lead project meetings and ensure timely communication across stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Drive project delivery from permitting through punch list and turnover
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in multifamily construction
- Proven track record managing wood-frame projects in urban environments
- Strong understanding of Chicago building codes and permitting processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects or phases simultaneously
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
