They're seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in wood-frame multifamily projects to lead ground-up developments from preconstruction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of construction for wood-frame multifamily projects (typically 50-200 units)
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships
  • Coordinate with field teams, architects, engineers, and city officials
  • Lead project meetings and ensure timely communication across stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
  • Drive project delivery from permitting through punch list and turnover

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in multifamily construction
  • Proven track record managing wood-frame projects in urban environments
  • Strong understanding of Chicago building codes and permitting processes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or phases simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
