Job Title: Project Manager - Substations & Transmission

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
Salary Range: $125,000 - $185,000 annually (Based on Experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time


About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in Substation and Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects to lead and oversee complex utility infrastructure initiatives. This remote role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team delivering high-impact projects across Texas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all phases of substation and T&D projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and client teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing substation and/or T&D projects.
  • Strong understanding of utility construction practices, codes, and standards.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Primavera, MS Project, etc.).
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to project sites as needed.
