Position Overview

The Architect Level 3 is a mid to senior level role responsible for leading design efforts, coordinating project documentation, and managing consultant teams across multiple phases of development. This role requires strong technical expertise, design leadership, and experience in delivering complex projects from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and documentation for commercial, mixed-use, and multi-family projects.
  • Develop and refine architectural concepts in collaboration with senior staff and clients.
  • Produce detailed construction documents and oversee quality control.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal design reviews.
  • Participate in client presentations and stakeholder meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with zoning, building codes, and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
  • 7-10 years of professional experience, with a focus on commercial and residential projects.
  • Licensed Architect preferred (or on track for licensure).
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling software (SketchUp, Rhino, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction methods.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with sustainable design and LEED certification is a plus.
