The Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of complex, high-value projects while positioning yourself as a future Project Executive. You will lead project teams, manage financial performance, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
You'll play a critical role in driving operational excellence and developing the next generation of talent within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver large-scale mechanical or plumbing projects from preconstruction through completion
- Provide strategic oversight on budgets, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting
- Manage client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact
- Oversee and guide project teams, including Project Managers, Engineers, and site staff
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across internal departments
- Ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and project objectives
- Manage subcontractors and ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing leadership and performance feedback
- Contribute to business growth, process improvements, and operational strategy
What You Bring
- Significant experience as a Project Manager within mechanical, plumbing, or MEP contracting
- Proven track record delivering complex construction projects
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing and developing teams
- Commercially astute with excellent financial management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Experience working closely with subcontractors and field teams
