Title: Project Manager - Utility Construction
Salary: $135,000 - $160,000 DOE
Summary:
A well established utility contractor is seeking a Project Manager to support underground electric transmission and civil infrastructure projects across New England. This is an opportunity to join a growing operation with a strong backlog of utility work, clear career progression, and the chance to manage projects from kickoff through closeout.
The role is ideal for a Project Manager with utility, heavy civil, or power delivery experience who enjoys owning project financials, client relationships, scheduling, and overall project execution.
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
· Managing projects from initiation through closeout
· Forecasting project costs, revenue, and resources
· Managing project budgets, earned value, and cost controls
· Reviewing contracts, change orders, and project documentation
· Coordinating field operations, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
· Providing regular project reporting to leadership and clients
The Project Manager should have the following qualifications:
· 2+ years of utility or infrastructure project management experience
· Experience with underground electric transmission projects strongly preferred
· Strong understanding of project controls, forecasting, and budgeting
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and/or Primavera P6
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· PMP or Project Management certification preferred
