Project Manager- Remote

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our clients Power Delivery Project Management team. This role offers flexibility with a hybrid work environment and focuses on managing and executing large scale transmission projects, developing client relationships, and promoting our services within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster a positive team culture and manage internal and external relationships.
• Oversee project financials, including status reporting, invoicing, accounts receivable, and unbilled amounts.
• Collaborate with design teams and provide leadership and mentoring to project staff.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, lead status meetings, and manage budgets.
• Participate in proposal preparation, client presentations, and marketing efforts.
• Interface primarily with Power Delivery projects, with occasional collaboration across other divisions.
• Travel locally to regional client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering management, or construction management OR 5+ years of professional experience in the electric power and communications industry.
  • 5+ years of applicable industry experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant project management experience.
  • Experience managing small- to medium-scale projects or serving as project lead.
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes and tools.
  • General understanding of transmission systems.

• Preferred:

  • Familiarity with regional utilities.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
