Role Overview
They are seeking an experienced Roof Consultant to service clients throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role requires strong technical capability, clear documentation skills, and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor across assessment, design support, and construction‑phase services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct roof evaluations, infrared scans, moisture surveys, and condition assessments
- Perform forensic leak investigations and develop root‑cause findings
- Prepare detailed technical reports, repair recommendations, and capital planning documents
- Develop specifications, scopes of work, and bid packages
- Lead contractor bid processes and evaluation
- Provide construction observation and quality assurance during active re‑roofing projects
- Assist clients with lifecycle planning and roof asset management strategies
- Ensure alignment with industry standards, safety protocols, and manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Qualifications
- RRO or RRC certification (required)
- 5+ years of experience in roofing consulting, building envelope assessment, or related field
- Strong knowledge of TPO, PVC, EPDM, BUR, modified bitumen, metal, coatings, and related systems
- Ability to safely conduct rooftop inspections and access various roof types
- Proficient in technical writing and report preparation
- Experience with infrared or moisture‑scan technology preferred
- Strong communication and client‑facing skills
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout DFW
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 - $140,000, dependent on experience
