Project Manager - Site Civil - Minneapolis
An established professional engineering firm is seeking a Site Design Project Engineer to join our team in our Minneapolis, MN office. We are a dynamic group of professionals committed to delivering high-quality services to clients across the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will contribute to projects in wind, solar, and emerging markets, and will bring enthusiasm, technical expertise, and a strong focus on client service.
If you are a licensed engineer with approximately six years of design experience and are ready to take the next step in your career, whether as a project manager or a technical lead, this could be the opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare design documents for civil systems related to utility-scale renewable energy projects.
- Review plans and specifications for constructibility and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate technical activities across disciplines within the local office.
- Act as a liaison between engineers and the design team.
- Support the Project Manager or Lead Engineer in conceptual, preliminary, and final design phases.
- Participate in client meetings and calls to coordinate design activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Project Managers.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of civil design for renewable energy projects.
- Ability to assess constructibility and manage design risks.
- Effective cross-disciplinary coordination and communication.
- Experience supporting project design phases and client interactions.
Preferred Experience
- Background in renewable energy or a strong interest in the industry.
- Experience managing land development or public infrastructure projects.
