About the Opportunity

A growing real estate development and construction organization is seeking a Site Development Project Manager to oversee the horizontal development and project completion phases of multiple residential and mixed-use developments. This role acts as a key liaison between field operations, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with applicable requirements.

The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in coordinating site development activities from construction kick-off through final closeout, helping to resolve issues in the field and maintain project momentum across a portfolio of active developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor multiple site development projects through construction and closeout.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, municipal agencies, and project stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
  • Assist with resolving field-related construction issues, including coordination with engineering teams and regulatory authorities.
  • Review, organize, and maintain project documentation, including plans, submittals, inspection reports, progress photos, RFIs, permits, and record drawings.
  • Support project scheduling and facilitate meetings related to major construction milestones.
  • Track project status, compile progress updates, and communicate key findings to project leadership.
  • Coordinate surveys throughout construction, including foundation certifications, utility verification, and record documentation.
  • Work with utility providers, municipalities, and contractors regarding service installations, inspections, and project closeout requirements.
  • Ensure environmental and erosion-control compliance requirements are coordinated and documented throughout construction.
  • Assist project teams in identifying risks, mitigating delays, and resolving issues that could impact schedules or budgets.
  • Support continuous process improvements and contribute to operational best practices across the development team.

Qualifications

  • Degree, diploma, technical certification, or equivalent industry experience in construction, civil engineering, land development, surveying, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting land development, site construction, civil infrastructure, or related development projects.
  • Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
  • Experience with document management and collaboration platforms used in the construction industry is advantageous.
  • Professional licensure or industry certifications are beneficial but not required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
