Project Scheduler - T&D
Overview:
A dynamic and growing organization is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to support the successful execution of complex projects through the implementation of best practices in scheduling, cost control, and performance analysis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and experience using Primavera P6 to manage project timelines and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the adoption and implementation of project controls best practices to improve project execution, team communication, and client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain cost-loaded Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) using Primavera P6.
- Monitor project progress, assess impacts to the critical path, and provide timely updates and reports.
- Prepare detailed schedule reports and analytics to support project decision-making.
- Analyze cost, schedule, and change order data to support forecasting and estimating.
- Respond to internal and external stakeholder requests for cost and schedule data.
- Participate in client meetings and provide project status updates.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and team success.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in project scheduling and controls, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
