PV Electrical Engineer - EIT or PE
Company Summary: A leading multidisciplinary firm is looking to expand their renewables team! They focus on Utility Scale PV, Wind & BESS project across the US. This dynamic team is looking to bring on an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the technical design aspects of PV projects. Additionally, you will work closely with the Team Lead to ensure requirements and deadlines are met. This role is based out of Boca Raton, FL. Relocation will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design and analysis of complex electrical systems for solar, renewable energy, energy storage, EV charging, and other infrastructure projects.
- Develop and review electrical design documents, including layouts, schematics, system calculations, and one-line diagrams.
- Collaborate daily with multi-disciplinary teams across various offices to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and proposals to support and expand electrical engineering services locally and nationally.
- Provide leadership through strategic planning, goal setting, client relationship management, and fostering open team communication.
Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering projects, with a strong grasp of NEC, NESC, IEEE, and ANSI standards; P.E. license preferred.
- Proven leadership in managing and mentoring staff, allocating resources effectively, and maintaining a positive team environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage constructively at all organizational levels.
- Track record of profitable project management, demonstrating both technical and business acumen.
